Extinguish, rescue, recover, protect. Our airport fire brigade is also committed to this guiding principle of the fire brigade.
Our fire brigade is on duty around the clock, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our approximately 270 colleagues ensure that the airport is safe.
The airport fire brigade is responsible for preventive (structural, technical and organisational fire protection) and defensive (aircraft rescue, fire fighting, fire fighting in buildings, etc.) fire protection measures on the entire airport site in accordance with national and international guidelines.
Within three minutes, the colleagues are on the scene and help in case of fire, accidents and in the form of a first responder.
Applicants should have completed B1 training. Rather rarely, we also offer positions as site firefighters, including B1 training, in cooperation with the State Fire Brigade School and in our own training. Please check our homepage for current vacancies.
