The dual study programme offers the opportunity to acquire both an academic degree and sound practical knowledge with one of the largest employers in the region. Studying computer science will make you an expert in the field of IT. Among other things, you will become familiar with the basics of software development and how networks and databases work. You will use the skills and IT knowledge you learn during your studies to optimise economic processes at the company and to solve problems.

  • computer science skills (taken up to Abitur (A-level equivalent)),

The application period is from 1 August to 31 October (training starts on 1 August of the following year).

You will begin on 1 August with the pre-study internship at the company.

The theory phase begins on 1 October at the Berlin School of Economics and Law.

Your integrated degree programme will last for 3 years and ends with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) qualification.

You will be working in the IT departments during your practical assignments at the airport. This will give you an in-depth insight into day-to-day business at BER. You will work with modern technology and receive competent support from the respective specialist teams. This also includes helping you on your way to successfully completing your training and jointly developing ideas for project work.
