Berlin Brandenburg Airport Willy Brandt (BER) is located in the south-east of Berlin and bears the IATA code BER. BER concentrates all air traffic in the Berlin-Brandenburg capital region at one location.
BER is the third largest airport in Germany. In 2019, before the coronavirus pandemic, some 35.65 million passengers took off and landed in the capital region. In 2023, 23.07 million passengers passed through BER.
