The HR-Manager hands over iPads in a Schönefeld Primary School

It is well known that the Christmas period is a time of contemplation and surprise. And this is also the case this year. In the context of the FBB regional public relations work, our Human Resources Manager Michael Halberstadt and his colleagues visited the Astrid-Lindgren Primary School in Schönefeld on December 8th. As is befitting at Christmas, the surprise visitors had brought numerous, small presents with them. 30 refurbished iPads that, in the near future, can be used for digital teaching, conjured up a smile upon the face of deputy headmaster André Liebelt at the handover. “We are extremely happy that our school was chosen for this wonderful project. The iPads are urgently required and will help us to acquaint the children with digital learning. Many thanks to the airport operating company for this magnificent Christmas surprise”. 

165 Arts and Crafts Bags for Nurseries and Primary Schools from the area surrounding the Airport

The multi-coloured Christmas competition organised by the FBB public relations department is a symbol of creativity. Nurseries and Primary Schools from the area surrounding the airport were able to take part in the raffling of 165 Arts and Crafts bags and, with a little luck, win a Christmas Arts and Crafts bag, lovingly filled with wondrous creative things for their facility. More than 60 groups registered in response and will be able to realise their creative ideas in the near future. The school “an der Wuhlheide” was also among the winners. The prize was handed over to the teacher of Class 2a on December 9th by Antonia Bosse, acting on behalf of the company.

Whether a nursery, a school or a senior citizens’ residence: For many years now the colleagues from our regional public relations department have been visiting selected facilities in the neighbouring communities during the Christmas period in order to bring them joy in the shape of small presents.
