Noise Protection Day on June 27th 2022
On June 27th, the airport operating company will be inviting all residents living in the vicinity of the BER to the Noise Protection Day being held in the DIALOG-FORUM in Schönefeld. Representatives of construction firms and of the Noise Protection Team of the airport operating company will be available for individual discussions from 10.00 till 19.00 hrs.
How to get there
The DIALOG-FORUM is located on Mittelstraße 11 in Schönefeld, not far from the S-Bahn station “Flughafen BER - Terminal 5,” the former Berlin-Schönefeld airport. On site, parking spaces are available in the parking area P56; the airport operating company will be providing exit tickets with which the guests will be able to use P56 free of charge.

Programme
Construction firms and the BER-Noise Protection Team will be available all day for individual questions and discussions. The technical and legal bases of the Noise Protection Programme may be discussed thereby, likewise the realisation of noise protection measures and the BER flight routes. The following de specialist lectures are also part of the programme.
13.00 hrs.: Noise Protection at BER, Information on Legal and Technical Bases and Tips on the Installation of Soundproofing (Ralf Wagner, Head of Noise Prevention & Environment)
15.00 hrs.: Aircraft Noise and Flight Routes at BER (Dr. Kai Johannsen, Head of Emissions Protection)
17.00. hrs.: House Building near the Airport, Planning New Buildings with the proper type of Soundproofing (Ralf Wagner, Head of Noise Prevention & Environment)
