Mobile measuring stations in Rangsdorf and Thyrow in June

Aircraft noise measurements by Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH in the surrounding area

The airport company has set up a mobile measuring station at the sports field in Rangsdorf for the month of June. The measuring station will mainly record take-offs on the south runway heading west. This route was used 3,664 times last May. The second mobile measuring station was set up for June in Thyrow, a district of Trebbin.  In addition to the above-mentioned route, this measuring station also records overflights due to take-offs on the so-called Hoffmann curve in a westerly direction and landing approaches in an easterly direction. The results of the aircraft noise measurements in Rangsdorf and Thyrow will probably be available in a multi-page measurement report on the airport company’s website from the end of July. There you will also find the current measurement data as well as an overview of the mobile measurements planned for the coming months.
