It’s getting darker outside and the temperatures are dropping, which can only mean one thing: it’s Christmas time! Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH wants its work in the surrounding area to once again bring a smile to people’s faces at this special time of year. That’s why we organised something very special for our Christmas campaign this year – together with the creative workshop “Lønneberga” from Zeuthen. On Friday, 25 November we had our own stand at the Schulzendorf Light Festival. Our stand gave children and young people – and even interested adults – the opportunity to make tree decorations, lanterns or Christmas cards. There were also refreshments in the form of free fruit punch and popcorn. After switching on the Christmas tree lights at 6 pm, Schulzendorf Mayor Markus Mücke also took a seat next to the hard-working craft-makers: “I’m really pleased that the airport has supported our little festival so generously. The presence of our “neighbour” at the stand right here at the town hall is something special. It’s nice to see the children really getting into the crafts.”
