To mark the 15th anniversary of the Airport Campus lecture series, Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH is organising a panel discussion on the topic of “Competition for talent: securing skilled labour for the airport region”.
This will take place on Wednesday, 6 December 2023 at 6 pm in Hall 17 at Wildau Technical University of Applied Sciences. The event is aimed at students in Berlin and Brandenburg as well as interested representatives from research, politics and business in the airport region.
Participants can expect a discussion group with experts from the region on the opportunities and challenges posed by the skilled labour situation in BER’s surrounding area. Afterwards, participants will have the opportunity to find out more about career prospects at BER, chat and network over snacks and drinks.
Participation in the event is free of charge. Car parking spaces are available on site for those travelling by car. For those travelling by public transport, the Wildau suburban railway station is in the immediate vicinity of the venue.

The Airport Campus series of events was launched in November 2008 as a university initiative of Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH to give students the opportunity to combine theory and practice at first hand using the airport company as an example. Since then, more than 4,000 students have taken part in 60 lecture events on various topics. The format has now developed into a recognised hub between science and business.
