Measurement report Müggelheim

From 4 to 27 March 2024, FBB's mobile measuring station was located in Raumbacherstraße in Müggelheim. The aircraft noise measurements revealed a continuous aircraft noise level of 47.1 dB(A) during the day and 38.7 dB(A) at night.

Take-offs from the northern runway to the east on the Müggelsee and Erkner routes were measured in Müggelheim. The take-offs generated an average maximum level of 63 dB(A). Landings on the northern runway in a westerly direction were also recorded. These also generated an average maximum level of 63 dB(A).

The continuous sound levels are important for determining the limit values, among other things, when it comes to guaranteeing noise protection measures: rooms used at night are protected from a continuous sound level of 50 dB(A), rooms used during the day from 60 dB(A).

All measured values were well below the limits for entitlement to noise protection or compensation measures.
