Wanted: trainees and dual students for jobs at BER

Start for the 2024 application procedure

Young talent wanted at BER Airport: from 1 August 2023, young people can apply to Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH for the 2024 training year. Twelve apprenticeships and six dual courses of study are on offer. Careers on offer include air traffic agents, electronics technicians, plant mechanics, industrial mechanics, safety specialists and IT specialists. FBB GmbH offers a total of 41 places for apprentices and dual students. An apprenticeship as a legal assistant is being offered for the first time. The deadline for applications is generally 31 October 2023.

The first selection procedure will already take place in November 2023, combined with possible contract commitments. Apprentices and dual students receive a salary of € 1,189.20 in the first year of training and € 1,297.58 in the first year of dual study. FBB also guarantees a 13-month salary, 27 days’ leave and holiday pay as well as an annual training and study grant budget of € 250 and a public transport ticket subsidy.

Tomorrow, 1 August 2023, 39 young people between the ages of 15 and 26 will begin their training and dual studies (a combination of academic study and on-the-job training) at Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH. 27 apprentices will start in eleven commercial and industrial-technical professions, twelve students will begin their in-company training in one of the six dual study programmes.
