Croatia Airlines is now flying to Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. The route is flown three times a week from BER. On Tuesdays and Fridays, the aircraft of Croatia's national airline departs BER at 8:20 p.m. and arrives in Zagreb at 9:45 p.m.; on Sundays, flights depart BER at 10:50 a.m. and arrive at 12:15 p.m. Travel time is just under 90 minutes. In addition to the new capital-to-capital connection, Star Alliance member Croatia Airlines also offers a flight every Saturday from BER to Split, another popular Croatian travel destination.
Zagreb is a fascinating, diverse destination that combines rich cultural history with modern flair. The city is also the country's most important economic, political and cultural centre and is therefore interesting for business travellers and tourists alike. The city offers visitors a wide range of tourist attractions, including the picturesque old town of Gornji Grad, numerous museums, galleries and theatres, as well as parks and a lively restaurant scene.
