16 mobile aircraft noise measurements in 2025

In order to keep an eye on aircraft noise and its development, the airport company operates 31 permanently installed aircraft noise measuring points around the clock, which are distributed along the BER flight routes. The results of the measurements can be viewed at any time and in quasi real time here and are also analysed in monthly aircraft noise reports: Aircraft noise measurements

These measurements are supplemented by two mobile aircraft noise measuring stations, which are operated independently using solar energy and a fuel cell and change location every month. The locations are selected at the request of the Aircraft Noise Commission or the local authorities or at the request of residents. Repeated measurements are also often carried out at the same locations and at greater intervals in order to document changes in aircraft noise pollution over a longer period of time.

FBB has already firmly planned the mobile aircraft noise measurements until the end of 2025. The locations include Erkner, Eichwalde, Großbeeren and Senzig. The complete list is published here: Planning mobile measuring stations
