Zernsdorf measurement report
The mobile measuring point of FBB was located on Eckardstraße in Zernsdorf from 2 August to 3 September 2020. The aircraft noise measurements showed a continuous aircraft noise sound pressure level of 41.9 dB(A) during the day and 32.7 dB(A) at night.
In Zernsdorf, measurements were mainly taken of takeoffs from the southern runway heading east. These takeoffs generated an average maximum noise level of 63 dB(A).
The continuous sound pressure levels are important for determining the limits for the purpose of ensuring noise abatement measures: rooms used at night are protected from a continuous sound pressure level of 50 dB(A), rooms used during the day from 60 dB(A).
All measured values were well below the limits for claiming noise abatement or compensation measures.
