Photography and
filming requests

General information

Commercial photography, filming and audio recording at BER require prior authorisation. Applications are reviewed and approved by the filming team at Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH (FBB).

Submitting an application

Enquiries are processed on weekdays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. In urgent cases outside these hours, a press spokesperson is available for editorial matters. Please allow a lead time of at least 8 weeks for commercial projects.

Drone footage

requires a separate permit and is subject to strict regulations.

Notes

• Requests for commercial filming are assessed on a case-by-case basis for feasibility and are subject to a fee. Please note that, for operational reasons, permission may be restricted, postponed or refused without giving reasons.
• Commercial photography and filming require a significant amount of organisational work prior to the shoot. We therefore ask that you submit your request 8 weeks before the planned filming date.
• Permission is always subject to the proviso that the operational requirements of our organisation and our customers take precedence over photography and filming. Ongoing work may also be suspended or interrupted in this regard. Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH accepts no liability for any damage arising from this.
• For operational and organisational reasons, the final decision on the shooting date rests with Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH, Corporate Communications. The department will endeavour to accommodate preferred dates, provided that operational requirements permit.
• Not all locations at BER Airport fall within our sole area of responsibility; more detailed information on this can be obtained from the filming team on request.
