The content of the Code of Conduct is based on FBB's corporate strategy, which is geared towards economic independence, ecological sustainability and social responsibility. The Code of Conduct reflects these objectives by defining standards of conduct along the entire process chain – from cooperation with partners and service providers to internal processes and interaction with clients. Specific requirements are set out for key issues such as economic efficiency, sustainability, connectivity, product development and employer attractiveness. In addition, the Code refers to existing legal and internal company regulations, which remain valid. The overall responsibility for ensuring compliance with the Code of Conduct lies with the executive leadership.
