Christmas sounds at BER

BER Airport was filled with festive sounds on Friday, 13 December 2024: The VOCALINOS Children's and Youth Choir of the Eichwalde Choral Community performed in Terminal 1. From 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., the singers brought a pre-Christmas atmosphere to the arrivals area on level E0.

The VOCALINOS presented a diverse repertoire of popular Christmas songs—from traditional classics like White Christmas to modern interpretations and lively hits like Feliz Navidad. The free concert in the arrivals area attracted numerous travelers, who listened to the pre-Christmas singing.

The performance provided passengers with a contemplative break from the holiday travel bustle. Following this highlight, there will be two more artistic performances in the Marketplace (security area) of Terminal 1 before Christmas:

• On Wednesday, 18 December 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., travelers can enjoy a live performance with piano music and singing.
• On Monday, 23 December 2024, singer Kirk Smith will perform a Christmas concert for travelers from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The successful concert by the VOCALINOS was jointly organized by the Regional Development and Passenger Services teams. Special thanks the Eichwalde Children's Choir and its choir director, Martina Büttner, for the heartwarming performance.
