More than 30 students from various fields of study at universities in Berlin and Brandenburg gathered at BER yesterday evening for the 68th event in the airport's own lecture series ‘Airport Campus’. After the welcoming address by Michael Halberstadt, Chief Human Ressources Officer at Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH (FBB), Klemens Krys, Head of Quality and Process Management Aviation at FBB, gave the students exciting insights into the use of artificial intelligence at BER Airport in his lecture. He explained how the Digital Turnaround system improves performance on the apron, thus ensuring greater punctuality and efficiency.
After the lecture, the students had the opportunity to get to know BER on a guided tour, to take a look at the apron from the observation deck and to talk to each other at the concluding get-together.
