Mayors' Round Table 2025

Regional politicians visit BER

At the invitation of the regional affairs officer, Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH (FBB) welcomed representatives of local authorities from the airport region to BER on Tuesday, 16 September 2025, for a joint exchange. Participants included mayors from surrounding municipalities, local council leaders from several Schönefeld districts, and representatives from the Dahme-Spreewald district. The office of the Airport Berlin Brandenburg Dialogue Forum and the management of BADC Berlin-Brandenburg Area Development Company GmbH were also among the participants.

After a welcome by Aletta von Massenbach, Chair of the Management Board of FBB, company executives provided information on current issues relating to the region and on digital innovations at BER. Guests were then given a guided tour of the terminal, where they were able to experience the technologies presented in action. The event concluded with a get-together, where discussions and bilateral exchanges continued in a personal atmosphere.
