New Newsletter for the Local Community

Published: 27 November 2025, 17:00

BER and its surrounding region are constantly evolving. To keep the public informed about important developments, Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH (FBB) provides a range of email newsletters tailored to different interest groups – such as passengers or the media. These have now been joined by a new addition specifically aimed at residents and stakeholders in the airport region.

The new newsletter, titled “Nachbarn News” (Neighbours News), aims to provide residents and partners in the area surrounding BER with regular updates on relevant topics concerning both the airport and the wider region. This digital newsletter complements existing channels of local communication, such as the regional magazine “Nachbarn – Wir in der Flughafenregion” (Neighbours – Life in the Airport Region) and the public dialogue format “Nachbarn im Dialog” (Neighbours in Dialogue).

Interested residents can subscribe to the newsletter free of charge via the following link:

“BER is a central part of the region – closely connected with the people who live and work around the airport. Many local residents have a strong and legitimate interest in what we do and in what’s happening at the airport and in the surrounding area. With this new newsletter, we want to keep our neighbours even better informed in the future.”

Christian Franzke, Head of Regional Affairs at Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH
