An Open Air concert for the region

Published: 11 June 2026, 13:15

Berlin Brandenburg Airport, together with the Brandenburg Summer Concerts and the district of Dahme-Spreewald, is inviting residents of the airport region to a special musical event: a large Open Air concert on the lawn in front of Terminal 1 at BER.

The concert is taking place as part of the anniversary season of the Brandenburg Summer Concerts and is being realised in cooperation with the Friede Springer Foundation. Against the striking backdrop of the airport building, the Original Vintage Orchestra from Prague will present a rousing “Tribute to Marlene Dietrich”, an homage to the Berlin world star and the Golden Twenties.

With this concert, the airport company, the Brandenburg Summer Concerts and the district of Dahme-Spreewald want to send a signal: for the region and for the special connection between the airport and its neighbouring communities.

On the day of the event, visitors can look forward to a varied supporting programme from 3pm onwards. The concert “Tribute to Marlene Dietrich” begins at 7pm. Travel by public transport is convenient and recommended, as parking spaces are largely booked up during the peak travel season.
