Survey flights by the German Air Traffic Control (DFS) have been announced at BER for 10–11 October. A relatively quiet, twin-engine propeller aircraft of the Beechcraft Super King Air 350 type will be used for this purpose. During these survey flights, all approach and departure procedures (except ILS) will be flown, with certain areas frequently being overflown in succession and at low altitude. Where possible, overflights of built-up areas will be avoided, provided the specified flight profiles allow this.
