First joint job fair at BER attracted great interest

Around 3,000 visitors on Willy Brandt Square

The first joint job fair organized by Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH and its partners at BER attracted a large crowd: around 3,000 visitors came to the event today to receive advice on job opportunities at the airport. Under the motto "Durchstarten - JOBS@BER", 33 companies advertised for applicants on Willy-Brandt-Platz. Numerous informational talks were held at the booths, and there were also job interviews as part of a so-called speed dating.

Many combined the fair with a trip to BER. They took a look at the terminals or took the opportunity to take a look at the apron during a free visit to the visitors' terrace. At the edge of Willy-Brandt-Platz, the airport fire department presented its fleet and offered insights into its daily routine during smaller demonstrations.

Michael Halberstadt, Managing Director Human Resources at Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH, said: "BER is attracting visitors. We are delighted that so many visitors came to the job fair at the airport. At times, the stands were literally surrounded by people. The great interest speaks for the attractiveness of employers at BER Airport."

Anyone interested in future job vacancies at BER Airport will find all the information they need on the website.
