Eurowings flies to Iraq
Non-stop to Erbil from BER

The airline Eurowings is further expanding its flight services at BER with a new direct connection to Iraq. The airline now flies to Erbil twice a week. The city in northern Iraq is served every Tuesday and Friday. On both days, the flight takes off from BER at 6.35 am and lands in Erbil at 12.50 pm. The return flight is scheduled at 1.50 pm, landing at BER at 4.30 pm. The flight time to Erbil International Airport is four hours and fifteen minutes. An Airbus A320 is used on the new route.

Erbil is the capital of Iraq’s Kurdistan Region and is one of the oldest cities in the world. The new connection to the Middle East is primarily aimed at those visiting friends and relatives. BER also offers two non-stop flights per week to Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, as another VFR destination.

Eurowings flies from BER to more than 30 destinations all year round. With the new destination, the airline is further expanding its services at the capital airport. Eurowings’ winter flight schedule includes numerous winter destinations, city destinations and popular warm-weather destinations, such as the Canary Islands, Hurghada and Majorca.
