Following today's warning strike by aviation security staff at several German airports, regular flight operations at BER will resume on Friday, 2 February 2024. Due to rebooking as a result of the strike, there may be a slight increase in passenger numbers at times. Passengers are requested to be in the terminal 2.5 hours prior to departure.
Information on flight preparation is available online: Travel advice on our website
Regardless of their departure gate, travellers can use the security controls in both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.
Tips on how to prepare for a speedy security control and how to reserve a time slot for BER Runway can be found on the airport's website:
Please note that a strike on public transport in Berlin and Brandenburg has been announced for Friday. The S-Bahn as well as regional and long-distance trains are not affected by the strike.
