easyJet is flying to five popular holiday destinations this summer
easyJet is now offering flights from BER to Antalya in Turkey. There will be new flights to Toulouse in France from 31 March. The connection to Birmingham resumes on 1 April and easyJet will be flying a new route to Izmir in Turkey from 3 April. All new connections will be served at least twice a week from BER Airport, the flights to Birmingham even up to 4 times a week and tickets are available from just EUR 39.99*. There is also an additional route to the Amalfi Coast in the peak summer months of July and August. The newly opened Salerno Airport shortens the journey to this popular Italian destination and, together with the daily Naples flights, provides an ideal opportunity for round trips along the Amalfi Coast.
The new routes at a glance:
Berlin/Brandenburg – Antalya, up to 2x a week (Tues, Sat) from 17 March
Berlin/Brandenburg – Birmingham, up to 4 times a week (Mon, Weds, Fri, Sun) from 1 April
Berlin/Brandenburg – Izmir, up to 2x a week (Weds, Sat) from 3 April
Berlin/Brandenburg – Salerno, up to 2x a week (Mon, Fri) from 12 July
Berlin/Brandenburg – Toulouse, up to 2x a week (Thurs, Sun) from 31 March
*Fare: one-way per person, incl. taxes, on selected routes and dates between 1 January 2024 and 31 August 2024. Last updated: 18 March 2024 The general terms and conditions on easyJet.com apply.
With these new routes, easyJet is meeting the growing demand from travellers who want to discover new destinations this summer. easyJet is offering a total of more than 50 routes from BER in this year’s summer flight schedule. Whether travellers want to fly to the beach in summer or go on a city trip – with easyJet, everyone can find the right holiday for them.
Together with more additional routes to Bordeaux, Paris, Copenhagen, Rome and Zurich, easyJet is offering another 200,000 additional seats this summer, also for those who decide at short notice.
For the first time this summer, travellers from BER can also take advantage of the wide range of holiday offers from easyJet holidays – its own package holiday company – which offers thousands of holiday and city breaks from Berlin/Brandenburg to 47 European destinations, including popular destinations such as Barcelona, Majorca, London, Rome and Paris with a choice of up to 3,000 hotels.
All easyJet holidays bookings include the flight, hotel, one piece of checked baggage at 23 kg per person and hotel transfer for beach holidays, and are secured for a deposit of just EUR 75 per person. The deposit can be refunded in full up to 60 days before departure and booking changes can be made up to 28 days before departure.
Stephan Erler, Country Manager for easyJet in Germany and Switzerland, commented:
“We are delighted to be expanding our route network at BER once again this summer and to be able to take our passengers on their well-deserved summer holidays, regardless of whether they want to explore Europe on a city break or relax on a beach holiday. With our new destinations to Antalya, Izmir, Salerno in Italy, Toulouse and Birmingham, we are expanding our unique network as the capital region’s home airline and, in doing so, offering even more options for a short trip or summer holiday. Together with our own package holiday company easyJet holidays, we always keep an eye on the demand for new destinations and are continuously adapting our route network so that we can offer suitable destinations for all our customers.”
Aletta von Massenbach, Chief Executive Officer of Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH:
With five new attractive destinations and more than 50 routes, easyJet enriches BER’s summer flight schedule, therefore contributing significantly to the connectivity of the airport location. The airline offers travellers a wide range of holiday options, from city breaks to active and relaxing holidays. At the same time, easyJet brings tourists to the capital region. We hope everyone has a good flight.”
easyJet passengers can check-in at BER the evening before for a relaxed journey. Customers with early morning flights (before 9.30 am) can conveniently check-in their baggage the day at off-peak times. This means that customers no longer need to check-in their baggage at the airport on the day of departure and they can go straight to security control. This means considerable time savings and less stress, especially for families travelling with children. The bag drop is available at BER the evening before departure between 6 and 9 pm.
Passengers at BER can also reserve a time slot for access to security control free of charge. “BER Runway” gives passengers access to a separate security control during a time slot reserved online, which avoids long waiting times. Reservations are possible from seven days before the booked flight. You simply need your flight number, name and email address to book. We recommend that you reserve a time slot at least two hours before departure.
