Condor is back at BER and, following a two-year break, is connecting the capital city region with three attractive sunny destinations this winter. The aircraft in the distinctive striped livery have been taking off daily in the late evening hours since 26 October en route to Dubai, the popular metropolis in the United Arab Emirates. The airline has been flying to Hurghada in Egypt since 27 October. This route is included in the flight schedule from BER four times a week (every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday). On 31 October, Gran Canaria will be added as another popular holiday destination. The connection to the Canary Island will be flown twice a week (every Thursday and Saturday).
“Welcome back! We take pleasure in Condor starting the 2024/2025 winter season with three popular sunny destinations from BER. Travellers have a wide range of attractive travel options, in particular via Dubai, says Aletta von Massenbach, Chief Executive Officer of Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH.
Peter Gerber, CEO Condor adds: “We are very pleased that for the first time, Condor is also represented via flights to Dubai from the German capital’s airport, and see it as an important step for us. The Canary Islands and Egypt are popular holiday destinations in the Condor route network, and the new destination Dubai gives guests the opportunity to fly with our partners to some of the world’s most attractive destinations. This means that we are expanding our range of flights from Germany not only this winter but also in the coming summer season.”
Condor will be using the modern Airbus A320neo aircraft to fly the BER-Dubai route. The modern short and medium-haul aircraft of the Airbus A32X family are equipped with highly efficient aircraft technology, consume less fuel, emit less CO2, are quieter and have improved aerodynamics. Airbus A321 aircraft will be used on the routes to Hurghada and Gran Canaria.
