Eurowings is significantly expanding its long-haul flights from BER. In the winter flight schedule 2025/2026, the airline will connect BER with Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates for the first time. The metropolis on the Persian Gulf will be served three times a week from BER from 3 November. Eurowings is also significantly expanding its connection to Dubai, which is also in the United Arab Emirates. From as early as 26 October, the airline will fly to the popular destination daily, increasing to eleven flights a week from 4 November. That is four additional flights each week. In addition, the airline will continue to connect BER with Jeddah in Saudi Arabia. Therefore, in the coming winter season, Eurowings will be flying twice daily from BER to the United Arab Emirates, connecting the airport with three attractive destinations in the Middle East.
Aletta von Massenbach, Chief Executive Officer, Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH: “The connection to Abu Dhabi enhances our flight schedule. It provides travellers from Berlin and Brandenburg with direct and convenient access to a new, attractive destination. At the same time, the connection strengthens the capital region, which is an exciting destination for travellers from and via Abu Dhabi. We are delighted that Eurowings is continually expanding its long-haul flight schedule at BER.”
Jens Bischof, CEO Eurowings: “First Dubai, then Jeddah, now Abu Dhabi – Eurowings is, therefore, establishing a total of three key direct connections from the capital to the Gulf region. In the future, Berliners will be able to choose from 16 connections altogether each week. We are convinced that in BER we have the right partner on board to make the Abu Dhabi route a success as well.”
