Regular flight operations at BER resume on 11 March
FBB advises travellers to plan more time

After today's warning strike by ground handling service providers and aviation security staff at several German airports, regular flight operations will resume at BER on Tuesday, 11 March 2025, when operations begin. There may be an increased number of passengers during the morning due to rebookings, possibly leading to some delays.

  • Due to the ongoing warning strike, neither baggage drop-off nor evening check-in will be available this evening (10 March 2025).
  • Passengers are asked to plan more time than usual before their departure.
  • Regardless of their departure gate, travellers can use the security controls in Terminals 1 and 2.
  • FBB recommends that all travellers use the advance booking of a time window for the security control, known as the BER Runway.
