The Romanian airline DAN AIR is connecting BER and Bucharest with immediate effect. The airline flies twice a week, Tuesdays and Fridays, from the capital region to the Romanian capital, which is increasingly becoming an insider tip among Europe’s city destinations. Airbus A320 aircraft with 180 seats are used on route from BER to Bucharest.
DAN Air provides the option of flying on to Damascus from Bucharest. The Romanian airline is currently the only airline based in Europe to provide flights to Syria.
DAN AIR is a Romanian airline based in Bucharest and was founded in 2017. The company began operations as an ACMI provider for international airlines. Today, DAN AIR operates scheduled flights from Bucharest and Bacău, as well as charter and ACMI connections. DAN AIR flies to 16 destinations, including cities in Germany, Belgium, Italy, Spain and Cyprus and, since June 2025, Damascus. DAN AIR has been a member of the IATA since 2024 and is listed in the IOSA safety database. The fleet boasts several Airbus A320 and A319 aircraft.
