Apprenticeship Day at BER on October 11, 2025

On Saturday, October 11, 2025, Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH (FBB) invites you to the BERzubi Apprenticeship Day at the BBAC on Willy-Brandt-Platz, directly in front of Terminal 1, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Under the motto “Where careers take off and land successfully,” BER will present its wide range of training and study opportunities.

FBB is looking for a total of 40 committed apprentices and dual students in 17 professions to start training on September 1, 2026. Representatives, apprentices, and dual students from the fields of information technology, facility management, aviation, airport firefighting, airport security, and terminal management will be on site to present their training and study programs and answer questions in person.

In addition to exciting insights into vocational training, visitors can expect a varied supporting program: Airport-specific vehicles can be viewed up close in the outdoor areas, including a follow-me vehicle, a security vehicle, airport fire department vehicles, and an aerial lift vehicle with an exceptional view over the airport grounds. There will also be a raffle with attractive prizes, an activity area with XXL games, and snacks for young and old.

“Many people find it difficult to choose a career because they often lack the imagination to picture what a job actually entails on a day-to-day basis. We want to fill this gap with life. That's why we're particularly looking forward to talking to interested people in person,” explains Juliane Reffert, Head of Human Resources & Organization at Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH.

Travel recommendation: The BBAC is easily accessible by public transport directly in front of Terminal 1 at BER. For visitors arriving by car, parking lot P108 is available free of charge. From there, a staff shuttle will take guests to the venue.
