Wizz Air expands flights from BER
Airline now flies to Bucharest and is increasing frequencies to other destinations

Wizz Air is expanding its flights from Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) and is now flying to Bucharest. The airline will fly to the Romanian capital up to five times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. An additional flight will be offered on Wednesdays in some weeks in December and January. The flights shall be operated with modern A321neo aircraft. The flight time is two hours and ten minutes.

Expansion of the route network

In addition, Wizz Air is increasing the frequency of several connections. The airline will fly to Varna in Bulgaria four times a week in future. That is two additional flights each week. The flight days are Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Chişinău in Moldova is now included in the flight schedule four times a week, and from 16 December, five times a week. This is an increase of first two, then three flights per week. The flight connections are planned for Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. The Hungarian airline connects BER with Tirana in Albania six to seven times a week. One to two flights each week will be added here as well.

Wizz Air is, therefore, significantly expanding its flights in the 2025/2026 winter flight schedule. The airline is offering 33% more flights. The additional, more frequent, use of larger and more modern A321neo aircraft means that 44% more seats are available than in last winter's flight schedule.

Outlook for the summer flight schedule

The expansion of flight services will continue in the coming summer flight schedule. Wizz Air has already announced two new destinations. From 16 March 2026, Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, will be flown four times a week. From 30 March, Tuzla in Bosnia and Herzegovina will be included in the flight schedule from BER three times a week.
