Summer flight schedule 2026
From BER to 155 destinations across Europe and the world

With the start of the summer flight schedule, airlines at BER are expanding their offering to include a number of exciting new destinations. From Sunday 29 March to Saturday 24 October 2026, a total of 80 airlines will fly to 155 destinations in 55 countries. The range extends from city breaks for weekend getaways and business trips to relaxing beach holidays and long-haul destinations. Mallorca and Antalya, as well as the cities of Paris, Vienna and Zurich, remain at the top of the list of the most popular destinations from BER.

News in the 2026 summer flight schedule

Air Canada is launching a new long-haul route to BER in summer 2026, connecting the capital region non-stop with Montréal, Canada’s second-largest city, from 3 July to 11 October. Canada’s largest airline will operate three flights a week from BER to Québec, and from 19 July to 6 September, it will even fly four times a week.

From 3 May, Air Transat will once again operate three flights a week between BER and Toronto in Canada. This means the Canadian airline is starting the season earlier than last year and is also increasing its frequency by one additional weekly flight. The non-stop service is scheduled to run until 23 October inclusive. Via Toronto Pearson Airport (YYZ), Air Transat offers travellers convenient connections to further destinations in Canada and the USA through a codeshare partnership with Porter Airlines.

In addition, two airlines operate daily flights to New York on the US East Coast. Delta Air Lines will once again be offering non-stop flights from BER to the US as part of its summer flight schedule. Starting much earlier than last year – from 29 March – the airline will connect the Berlin Brandenburg region with New York on the US East Coast. Initially, the route will be operated five times a week (except Tuesdays and Fridays). From 1 May to 25 October, flights to the US will then operate daily. United Airlines is continuing its daily service to Newark/New York.

Via the four main hubs – Montréal, Toronto, New York JFK and Newark – travellers have a wide range of connecting flights to attractive destinations across North America.

Hainan Airlines continues to operate five flights a week to the Chinese capital, Beijing, during the summer flight schedule. From there, passengers can easily connect to numerous destinations in China and Asia, such as Shanghai, Chengdu, Tokyo and Bangkok.

In its upcoming summer flight schedule, airBaltic is increasing the frequency of flights to Riga and Vilnius by one flight each. There will then be a total of ten flights a week to Riga and three to Vilnius.

AJet will begin operating a weekly service to Bodrum from 30 June. With this new route, the Turkish airline will take travellers directly to one of the most popular summer destinations on the Aegean coast, thereby enhancing the range of holiday options available from BER.

From 23 June, easyJet will fly three times a week to Milan Malpensa Airport, which is conveniently located near the Alpine foothills, Lake Maggiore and Lake Como. In September and October, Milan Malpensa will even feature in the flight schedule from BER every day except Saturdays. The new route complements the existing service to Milan Linate, which easyJet already operates several times a week.

Eurowings is significantly expanding its services at BER in summer 2026. The Lufthansa subsidiary is offering new routes to the European capitals of London, Lisbon and Sarajevo, as well as to popular holiday destinations. At the same time, the BER base is growing by two additional aircraft, bringing the total to nine.

London, the capital of the United Kingdom, will feature 12 times a week in Eurowings’ flight schedule from BER from 29 March, when the summer flight schedule comes into effect. The Lufthansa subsidiary will fly to the Portuguese capital, Lisbon, up to three times a week from 30 March. Flights to Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina will also operate up to twice a week from 9 May. From 7 April, Eurowings will fly to Naples in Italy twice a week. From 10 May, Eurowings will launch two weekly services to Olbia in eastern Sardinia. Kavala in Greece will follow on 9 July, also with two flights a week. In addition, the airline is increasing the frequency of flights to popular destinations such as Palma de Mallorca and Bilbao in Spain, Zurich in Switzerland, Stockholm and Gothenburg in Sweden, Split in Croatia, Faro in Portugal, Helsinki in Finland and Larnaca in Cyprus.

From 22 September, Volotea will launch a new route from BER to Florence, flying to Tuscany twice a week. The Spanish airline is thus connecting BER with a new, attractive city destination in Italy.

Wizz Air is expanding its flight schedule at BER and will enter its biggest growth phase to date in the 2026 summer flight schedule. The airline is adding new routes to its schedule and expanding existing routes by increasing frequencies or deploying larger aircraft. The total number of seats on offer will increase by 90 per cent compared with the previous year’s summer flight schedule. In total, the airline will fly to twelve destinations from BER in the 2026 summer flight schedule.

Wizz Air has been operating four flights a week to the Slovak capital, Bratislava, since 16 March. From 30 March, it will offer three weekly flights to Tuzla in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and from 31 March it will expand its service to include three weekly flights to Cluj-Napoca in Romania. Timișoara in Romania will be added to the flight schedule from BER from 21 May and will be served twice a week. At the same time, Wizz Air will continue its successful service to Bucharest. The Romanian capital will then be served daily. On the established routes to Belgrade in Serbia, Chișinău in the Republic of Moldova, Tirana in Albania and Varna in Bulgaria, Wizz Air is expanding its service with additional flights or the use of larger aircraft.
