Brammibal’s Donuts opens new shop at BER
Vegan doughnuts and Berlin lifestyle at Terminal 1

Sweet treats in store for travellers at Berlin Brandenburg Airport: Brammibal’s Donuts, a familiar sight in many Berlin neighbourhoods, has opened its first airport shop at BER. The Berlin-based company is expanding the airport’s range of refreshment outlets with an innovative, entirely vegan concept, including handmade doughnuts, speciality coffees and a modern store concept.

The new shop is located in the market place at BER’s Terminal 1, after security control, and offers travellers a wide selection of freshly prepared vegan doughnuts in a variety of flavours, as well as speciality coffees and other snacks, every day.

“With Brammibal’s, BER is expanding its range of services in the form of a young, innovative restaurant concept, thereby responding to the wishes of many of our passengers. The entirely vegan range enriches our market place and brings a colourful slice of Berlin’s food scene to the airport,” says Ilona Koch, Head of Commercial & Real Estate Management.

“For many travellers, BER is their first or last impression of a city. We are delighted to be part of Berlin’s food culture there, and serve our doughnuts in a place that brings people from all over the world together,” says Bram van Montfort, co-founder of Brammibal’s Donuts.

With the opening of Brammibal’s Donuts, BER is further expanding its diverse range of restaurant options. Travellers can now choose from more than 120 restaurants and retail outlets at the airport. Alongside concepts such as “Haferkater”, “Beets & Roots” and “Friendly Fish Sushi”, one of Berlin’s best-known vegan brands is now also adding to the range of services at Terminal 1.

Brammibal's Donuts was founded in Berlin in 2015 and is regarded as a pioneer of vegan doughnuts in Germany. The company now operates 15 outlets in Berlin and Hamburg and employs more than 170 staff. All doughnuts are made without animal ingredients. The range extends from classic glazes to creative seasonal creations.
