2026/2027 Winter Timetable

Eurowings and Wizz Air expand their services

The new winter timetable at BER comes into effect with the time change on Sunday, 25 October 2026. Up until 27 March 2027, some 70 airlines will be flying to 140 destinations in 50 countries. That is ten more destinations than in the previous season. The most popular destinations reflect the diversity of the air transport market in Berlin and Brandenburg. While major cities such as London, Paris, Vienna and Barcelona remain just as popular as classic Mediterranean sun destinations, Italy, in particular, with many direct connections, ranks among the fastest-growing international destinations from BER.

At the same time, routes to the Gulf region and the eastern Mediterranean are gaining in importance and strengthening the capital region’s international connectivity. The service range is complemented by an extensive route network to Scandinavia and Northern Europe, which is in high demand for both business and winter travel.

New services in detail

airBaltic is expanding its winter schedule from BER to include a new direct service to Kuusamo in Finnish Lapland. From 19 December 2026, the Latvian airline will fly to northern Finland once a week.

Air Algérie will also operate a service from BER to Algier, Algeria’s capital, as part of the winter timetable. The service will change to one flight a week on Sundays with the start of the winter timetable at the end of October. The airline uses Algiers for connecting flights to destinations on the African continent, such as Johannesburg.

Condor has been operating daily non-stop flights to Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates since 15 October. The flights are operated as a codeshare with Etihad Airways. This new route provides the capital region with a direct link to one of the key air transport hubs in the Middle East. In Abu Dhabi, travellers with Etihad have access to numerous connecting flights to destinations in Asia, Africa and Australia.

easyJet is supplementing its winter schedule at BER and now includes a seasonal service to Newcastle in the north-east of England. The airline will operate direct flights to the British port city twice a week between 20 November and 21 December 2026. During this winter timetable, easyJet will serve both Milan airports. Travellers will, therefore, benefit from the international connections via Milan-Malpensa as well as the particularly central location of Milan Linate City Airport.

Eurowings is expanding its presence at BER in the 2026/2027 winter timetable. From 2 November, the airline will connect the capital region with Rome four times a week and Bologna in Italy three times a week. From 1 November, Eurowings will resume daily flights to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. Jeddah in Saudi Arabia will once again feature in the flight schedule from BER twice a week from 12 November. Baghdad, the capital of Iraq, will be a new addition to the flight schedule from BER from 10 December. The new route will be operated once a week and twice a week during the Christmas and New Year period.

In addition, Eurowings is continuing several established routes from the summer timetable and is, therefore, launching winter services for the first time to Lisbon and Porto in Portugal as well as Bilbao in Spain. The airline will fly to festive Edinburgh in Great Britain once or twice a week between 4 December and 4 January. Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina will once again be included in the timetable with non-stop flights from 20 December. Eurowings is further expanding its service range to Finnish Lapland with a new winter destination. From 20 December, Kuusamo will be included in the timetable from BER while Rovaniemi and Kittilä will be flown more frequently than in the previous season. In total, Eurowings will fly to 40 destinations in 17 countries from BER in the winter timetable.

Hainan Airlines will use its most modern aircraft, an A330-900neo, on three of the five weekly flights on the direct route between BER and the Chinese capital, Beijing, during the winter timetable. These brand-new aircraft feature a modern cabin design that provides greater comfort for passengers. At the same time, they are significantly more efficient and quieter than the aircraft previously in service.

From 1 November, Qatar Airways will once again operate three daily flights from BER to Doha in Qatar. This means the hub on the Persian Gulf will once again be connected to the capital region at regular intervals in the morning, at midday and in the evening. In Doha, travellers have access to numerous connecting flights to Asia, Africa, Australia and the Middle East.

Wizz Air is also focusing on growth in its winter timetable and is expanding its route network from BER to include six new destinations. The airline has been flying to Sofia in Bulgaria four times a week since 20 September. From 26 October, Wizz Air will fly three times a week to Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. On 3 December, Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, will follow with two weekly services. Wizz Air will launch its first service to Italy from BER on 14 December. Daily flights to Milan-Malpensa Airport will then be available. From 14 December, the airline will also fly three times a week to Pristina in Kosovo. Three days later, on 17 December, Suceava will be added as a further destination in Romania, which will also be flown three times a week. Wizz Air’s route network from BER will, therefore, expand to 17 destinations in 13 countries.

Terminal 2 opening hours in the winter timetable

The move to the winter timetable will result in changes in the operating hours in Terminal 2 from 2 November 2026. Check-in opens 2 to 2.5 hours before the respective flight, depending on the airline. Passengers travelling with hand luggage only can also use the security controls in Terminal 1, which open at 4:00 a.m. as before. All gates are accessible from all security controls.
