New route to Vilnius
Wizz Air expansion continues at BER

Wizz Air is launching a new route from Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) just in time for the start of the winter timetable. The airline now flies to the Lithuanian capital, Vilnius. The route will be operated three times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The modern A321 Neo aircraft, which seats 239 passengers, will be used for the flights.

With Vilnius, Wizz Air is adding a capital city connection to its route network that combines economic significance with tourist appeal. The destination is a key technology and business hub in the Baltic region and appeals to both business travellers and visitors keen to explore the historic old town and the city’s vibrant atmosphere. The flights, operated on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, offer both flexible business travel options and ideal conditions for short breaks and long weekends.

The new route to Vilnius sees Wizz Air expanding its range from BER while also strengthening the capital region’s links to the Baltic states. In the 2026/2027 winter timetable, the airline’s route network from BER will grow to 17 destinations in 13 countries. Operations focus on Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe, with a mix of capital cities such as Budapest, Bucharest, Sarajevo, Tirana, Sofia and Vilnius as well as regional centres such as Cluj-Napoca, Suceava, Varna and Tuzla.

The routes are aimed equally at business and city travellers as well as people with family and personal ties to the respective regions. Wizz Air is also supplementing its services to include Milan, a major city in Southern Europe that will be a daily feature in the flight schedule from 14 December.
