FBB invitation to the last Noise Abatement Day event
Individual advice and expert presentations on aircraft noise and flight routes

Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH is inviting all residents who live near BER Airport to the last Noise Abatement Day event on Thursday, 15 May 2025. It will be held from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm at DIALOG-FORUM, Mittelstraße 11, in Schönefeld.

Representatives from construction companies, the FBB noise protection team and aircraft noise and flight route experts will be on hand throughout the day and will be available for individual questions and discussions.

Aletta von Massenbach, Chief Executive Officer of Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH: “During the past few years, we have held many personal discussions, answered questions and supported thousands of local residents in their applications for noise protection. It’s now time for a final push: if anyone still wants to file an application, now is the time to do so. Our experts will be on hand once again at the last Noise Abatement Day event on 15 May to answer questions on how to apply for and install noise protection measures.”

Applications can only be submitted up until 4 November 2025

This year focuses, in particular, on the expiring periods in the noise abatement programme. The Noise Abatement Day event has been held annually since 2016. It is being held this year for the tenth and final time.

The programme includes two specialist presentations: at 1.00 pm Ralf Wagner, Head of Noise Abatement and Environment, will speak about “Noise Abatement at BER.” Dr. Kai Johannsen, Head of Immission Control, will follow at 3:00 pm with a presentation on “Aircraft Noise and Flight Routes at BER.”

DIALOG-FORUM is located in the vicinity of Schönefeld S-Bahn Station. Parking spaces are available on site in car park P56. The airport company will provide exit tickets so that guests can use the car park free of charge.
