2.32 million passengers travelled via BER in May
The busiest day was 4 May 2025

Almost 2.32 million people travelled through Berlin Brandenburg Airport in May 2025. This is around 90,000 more passengers than in the previous month of April 2025, according to the preliminary figures in the traffic report. Compared to the same month last year, this represents a decrease of around 51,000 passengers.

The busiest day of the month was Sunday 4 May 2025 with 86,760 passengers. Around 237,000 passengers used BER during the weekend of the DFB Cup final from Friday 23 May to Sunday 25 May alone.

A total of 17,513 aircraft took off and landed at BER last month. In May, there were 16,291 take-offs and landings.

A total of more than 4,336 tonnes of freight were handled at BER last month.
