BER records 1.71 million passengers in February
Passenger figures almost 9 percent above previous year’s level, cargo volume also continuing to rise
February 2025 saw 1.71 million people pass through Berlin Brandenburg Airport. This is about 8.9 percent more than in February 2024 (1.57 million passengers) according to the preliminary traffic report figures. The busiest day of the month was 9 February with 72,462 passengers.
In total, 13,410 aircraft took off and landed at BER last month. That is 7.9 percent more than in the same month last year. February 2024 saw 12,432 take-offs and landings.
Air freight in February was 19.6 percent higher than in February 2024. In total, 3,577 tonnes of freight were handled at BER last month.
