We have been training around 25 young people every year since 1992. This has made us a successful and experienced training company. We have already been able to congratulate the national best air traffic clerk twice as well as several chamber bests in our other apprenticeship professions. Our trainees can draw on the extensive and well-founded specialist knowledge they have acquired during their training with us. We also see our apprentices as the next generation of the company. It is therefore important to us that they pass through the various departments in order to get to know the many facets of an airport operation. This promotes company-wide or even cross-company networking as well as helpful contact and exchange opportunities. Particular additional highlights during training include the introductory course, the trainee trip and the trainee party, which is organized by the trainees themselves.
You have the opportunity to choose between a variety of commercial, industrial-technical or security-related training professions. The theoretical training takes place in block instruction with a total of 13 weeks per training year at a secondary school in Berlin or Brandenburg.During the vocational training you complete the practical training at Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH. Depending on the type of training, you will gain an insight into tasks typical of the profession and gain exciting experience in a wide range of areas at the airport. With the three-year training for commercial trainees and the three-and-a-half-year training for industrial-technical trainees, you will acquire the IHK vocational qualification after passing the examinations.
You are a theoretical practitioner? Perfect! Then a dual study program combined with practical work experience at Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH is the right choice for you.
