On 27 April 2023, 48 girls and boys set off on a journey of discovery into the world of vocational training at BER. After a brief welcome from Chief Human Resources Officer, Mr Michael Halberstadt, and a general overview of the diverse range of vocational training opportunities, the young participants were able to immerse themselves in the world of airport operations. Whether IT, engineering, fire service, security, aviation, terminal: there are many possibilities. And even though most of the youngsters had already flown from BER, they were able to take a look behind closed doors. At the end, each participant received a boarding pass for their future application documents for one of our vocational training places and dual study programmes.
