Aircraft noise

Innovation and transparency

With more than 25 million passengers and about 190,000 flights in 2024, BER is one of the most important airport locations in Germany and is of key importance for the European and international connectivity of the capital region.

It is particularly important for the airport company (FBB) to facilitate mobility for the region and at the same time protect BER’s neighbours from aircraft noise. It is, therefore, focussing on noise-related charges to support modern flying at BER. To ensure transparency and provide comprehensive information, you will also find details of the extensive night flight regulations at BER, as well as numerous data on flight routes and current real-time measurements from our aircraft noise monitoring stations.
