Environmentally aware behaviour

The airport company (FBB) is committed to sustainability and pursues the goal of operating Berlin Brandenburg Airport in the most energy-efficient, resource-efficient and environmentally friendly manner possible. We also want to convince our business partners, service providers and travellers of this. Even if the airport and environment topics initially sound like a contradiction, there are many opportunities and tasks in respect of protecting the environment. Various fields of action arise for FBB in terms of ecologically responsible behaviour. In order to further establish environmental issues, FBB is currently setting up an environmental management system in accordance with the management guidelines on environmental policy.
