Aircraft movements in real time

Whether special aircraft, noisy overflights or rare flight routes, the airport company (FBB) makes information available about all flight movements at BER online, with a delay of just a few seconds, via TraVis (Track Visualisation). Among other things, TraVis makes information available about the aircraft type, airline and departure and destination airports. It also has a calendar function that allows you to select any date in the past two months and view flights up to the minute. The flight movements can also be viewed in fast motion, allowing the flights of a selected day to be played back retrospectively at up to 60x speed.

In TraVis, amongst other things, the noise protection areas and flight routes can be displayed with their respective dispersion patterns. This works particularly well in combination with the address search function, where users can enter an address at the top of the page or place the little house to the left of it directly on the map. The aircraft noise measuring points can also be easily identified here and change colour when certain noise levels are exceeded.
