From 5 May to 5 June 2023, the FBB mobile measuring point was located on Erlenstraße in Köpenick. Aircraft noise measurements showed a continuous sound level of 35.1 dB(A) during the day and 26.1 dB(A) at night.
In Köpenick, it was possible to measure take-offs from the northern runway to the east on the Müggelsee route. The take-offs produced a mean maximum level of 57 dB(A).
Continuous sound levels are important, among other things, for determining the limit values when it comes to ensuring sound insulation requirements: Rooms used at night are protected from a continuous sound level of 50 dB(A), while rooms used during the day are protected from 60 dB(A).
All measured values were well below the limits for noise protection or compensation requirements.
