From 3 August to 4 September 2023, the FBB mobile measuring station was located in Fasanenpark in Strausberg. The aircraft noise measurements resulted in a continuous aircraft noise level of 30.9 dB(A) during the day and 22.5 dB(A) at night.
In Strausberg, landings in a westerly direction and a few take-offs from the northern runway in an easterly direction were measured. Both landings and take-offs generated a mean maximum level of 57 dB(A).
The continuous sound levels are important, among other things, for determining the limit values when it comes to guaranteeing noise protection measures: rooms used at night are protected from a continuous sound level of 50 dB(A), rooms used during the day from 60 dB(A).
All measured values were well below the limits of entitlement to noise protection or compensation measures.
