Best thesis in Aviation Engineering / Aviation Management degree programme at TH Wildau awarded

As part of this year’s graduation ceremony of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences at the Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau, held last Saturday (15 November 2025), the best theses of the current cohort were honoured.

In the Aviation Engineering / Aviation Management programme, the selection of the best thesis was once again carried out in close technical collaboration with the Aviation division of Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH (FBB).

The award was given to the Master’s thesis by Luise Singer, titled “Electrification of Aircraft Ground Handling: An Analysis of the Impact on Employees Involved in the Processes.” At the formal award ceremony in the Audimax at TH Wildau, Holger Wieck, Head of Aviation / Airside Operations, personally presented the award and commended the graduate’s academic achievement. The jury was particularly impressed by the thesis’s topical relevance and its practical recommendations, which make a valuable contribution to the sustainable development of ground handling processes in the aviation sector.
