Route potentials

The capital region is on its way to becoming one of the most important aviation locations in Europe. In Germany, Berlin Brandenburg Airport is the third largest airport location. For years, BER recorded continuous and strong growth. In 2019, around 35.65 million passengers were handled in Berlin - a new passenger record. Due to the pandemic, passenger numbers in 2020 and 2021 are far below the figures before the crisis. In October 2020, the month in which Berlin Brandenburg Airport went into operation, the number of passengers due to the Corona crisis was just under 600,000 compared to around 3 million passengers in October 2019. In 2021, 9.95 million passengers passed through BER.

There is a lot of potential for growth, especially in the long-haul and niche markets. Many of the unserved routes have excellent potential in a European comparison.

We would be happy to develop a potential analysis for your route.
