Noise protection exhibition
You can obtain comprehensive information about the BER noise protection programme in the Dialogue Forum. The districts will be organising extensive consultations on all topics relating to BER airport.
Furthermore, you will find a large exhibition on noise protection with a huge map of the areas of concern, a model house with various noise protection measures and small information films on the installation of soundproof windows and soundproof fans. This will give you a detailed impression of the BER sound insulation programme.

The Noise Abatement Commission advises the licensing authority, the Federal Supervisory Authority for Air Navigation Services and the German Air Traffic Control (DFS) on measures to protect the population against aircraft noise and to reduce air pollution from aircraft. The Noise Abatement Commission is also active in an advisory capacity in the determination of the new flight routes for BER.
