To enable you to search for specific content on our website, we use Google’s “Programmable Search Engine” as a central search service. The provider of this search service is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). Its parent company is Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Montain View, CA 94043, USA.

When using the search service, in particular the IP address of the terminal device used by you and the search terms entered by you in the search mask are transmitted to Google. Transmission only takes place as soon as you have started your search by clicking on the search symbol (magnifying glass) after entering your search terms.

Your data is also regularly transferred to a Google LLC server in the USA and stored there. According to the European Court of Justice, the laws of the USA do not guarantee an adequate level of data protection. In particular, your data may be accessed by US authorities without you becoming aware of this and without you having effective legal protection against this. We would also like to point out that we ourselves have no influence on the type and extent of processing and in particular the storage, deletion and other use of your data by Google. If you are logged into Google while using our search service, Google will be able to associate the information about your search with your user profile. If you do not wish this to happen, you should log out of Google before using our search service.

The use of our search service requires your consent to the processing of your personal data pursuant to Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. a) GDPR including your express consent to the transfer of your data to the USA pursuant to Art. 49 (1) lit. a) GDPR.
