Since the summer of 2011, Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH has been monitoring the air quality at the airport in accordance with the planning at the airport. Since then, the prescribed measurements of a wide range of air pollutants have been supplemented by additional voluntary programmes.

Our long-term Environment Study Programme aims to document air quality and the environmental impact of air traffic.
